Aida Brandes – Jazz – hip hop – neo soul: Half german, half japanese singer Aida Brandes writes and produces her own music and creates a unique sound. The multi talented artist also plays piano and arranges music for various ensembles. Her big band arrangements have been featured by the Roy Hargrove Big Band. She leads her own trio, as well as a larger outfit which features a three piece horn section. Before becoming a solo artist Aida enjoyed a successful career as a professional singer and dancer for some of the top acts in the US and Europe. She has opened for artists such as Boyz II Men and MC Lyte and has worked with artists such as Joe, David Hasselhoff and Brooklyn Bounce. Aida is currently working on her highly anticipated visual album “Almut”, to be released summer 2017 and has been selected to perform at the renowned Harlem Arts Festival 2017.
Kappa – Kappa Tanabe is an international guitarist with expertise on the electric, acoustic and classical guitar. He has received numerous awards such as the coveted Triple Crown Prize in Japan. Working professionally since the age of 18, Kappa has interacted with high caliber artists from Momotaro Maruyma to Joe to Chaka Khan and many emerging artists. His discography includes a debut CD titled Good Stuff, which showcases a range of technical skills and original compositions. Many of his original compositions have been used for TV and Radio programming. Kappa is a sought out session player, composer, and concert guitarist. Some of his favorite guitarists include George Benson, Jimi Hendrix, Larry Carlton and Van Halen.
Ai Shindo – Ai Shindo is a singer song writer, composer, vocal arranger, vocal trainer and sound director. After graduating from college she became a member of the vocal group “Cry & Feel it.” The group performed 200-300 shows each year. Her vocal group debuted as a major act for SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT JAPAN. Her second single “Sakura Sarari” composed and written by her received significant airplay on 53FM radio station. After her performance was broadcasted on a national TV news program she and her group became well known throughout Japan. That same year the group had one of their songs on the Omnibus Album “Image 4″, which sold 4 million CDs worldwide. In 2015 Ai was invited to perform as a special guest singer for J-summit 25 anniversary and JAPAN MATSURI which is the largest Japanese festival in Harrison, NY. She also performed as a guest singer for one of the greatest Mbira and Shekere masters Kevin Nathaniel’s African band “The peace department”. In 2016 Ai was selected as a vocal director and performed at the Hilton Hotel in NY for 11 people’s worldwide band of Yanouv who is one of the greatest flute players in Thailand and she was invited as a producer and singer for Yanouv’s world tour.
